Ana Cristina Pazmino is an award-winning sustainability professional and operational strategist with over a decade of experience in environmental management, waste diversion, and organizational leadership. As Manager of Caretaking Programs at the University of Calgary, she oversaw complex facility operations, productivity, and resource allocation.
A recognized expert in circular-economy principles and solid-waste diversion, she led the Standardized Waste Bin Project that earned the Recycling Council of Alberta's Institutional 3R of Excellence Award, and brings consulting experience from Tetra Tech Canada across municipal and industrial waste studies and landfill-gas monitoring.
Ana holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Development and a BA in International Relations from the University of Calgary, with certificates in Environmental Management, OH&S, and Aboriginal Relations. She is an Environmental Professional In-Training (EPt) and is fully proficient in English and Spanish.
